Ultrasonic waves are sound waves with a frequency higher than 20000 hertz. The ultrasonic waves that propagate in liquids can clean the dirt on the surface of objects. Ultrasonic cleaning is a device that uses the high-frequency oscillation principle of ultrasonic waves to clean the surface of objects.
The principle of ultrasonic cleaning machine mainly depends on the "cavitation effect". Specifically, the ultrasonic cleaning machine emits high-frequency oscillation signals through an ultrasonic generator, which are converted into high-frequency mechanical vibration waves through transducers, and these vibrations propagate into the cleaning solution. In liquids, these vibrations generate a large number of tiny bubbles. When the sound pressure or sound intensity is reduced to a certain extent by pressure, the bubbles will rapidly expand and then suddenly close. During this process, the moment the bubble closes, a shock wave is generated. This extreme and repetitive shock wave can not only destroy the adsorption of dirt and the surface of the cleaning part, but also cause fatigue damage to the dirt layer and be removed. The vibration of gas bubbles scrubs the solid surface, and once there is a crack in the dirt layer that can be drilled, the bubbles immediately "drill in" and vibrate, causing the dirt layer to fall off. The friction of molecular motion can also quickly peel off the attachments on the surface or inside of the object.
Ultrasonic cleaning has the characteristics of high cleaning cleanliness and fast cleaning speed. Especially for blind holes and various geometric objects, the cleaning effect cannot be achieved by other cleaning methods alone.
The higher the power density of ultrasound, the stronger the cavitation effect, the faster the speed, and the better the cleaning effect.
